ironic?

I was driving home tonight when I noticed some acerbic bumper stickers on a car.

The one that caught my eye was "work harder! millions of people on welfare are depending on you!"

I chuckled. Then I saw the driver. In her post office uniform.

Do you find that ironic? I do!

I'm not sure we will see the fullness of ironic bumper stickers in the Obama era because most people are terrified of the retribution for putting an anti-Obama bumper sticker on their cars.

For example:

"Did you vote for Obama?
Well, thanks alot asshole"

I woundn't put it on my bumper, but I can certainly feel the sentiment.
